Amen Amen !!!! The problem is that the left coasters are moving to the right coast (sorry no pun intended) east. This is the same problem that the Episcopal Church faced and look what happened. They stood up and begged their fearless leaders not to go down this road. Do you know that they were told sit down and shut up we are Bishops and we will do as we see fit and if you do not like it we will seize you property. Look who’s laughing now. No one the church is split they are in court and the church is spending Millions and I mean Millions to defend their belief that the Bible does not mean exactly what is written. The Bishops say oh God just does not understand our society and we need to be inclusive. Does any of this sound familiar? LOL look at the 2008 changes proposed in the General Conference it’s a joke. The Bishops believe they can amend their way out of the Bible (God's word) and into acceptance and anything their heart desires. If it had not been for our African Bishop Brothers this church would be celebrating Gay Priest day and joining the Planned Parent hood. Oops I forgot they already have membership in the RCRC maybe they will be running the clinics next!!

Where are the conservative pastors and church members in California? They are here, among us - mostly quietly and faithfully working to spread Scriptural holiness across the land. It is no easy or comfortable task. Formal complaints have been made; the most recent still in process. As you must surmise, the conservative and evangelical pastors do not control that process in the Western Jurisdiction. For the most part these pastors stay focused on building up their congregations, as we all humble ourselves before God, fast, and pray and seek the King of Heaven. Surely you understand that because of our U.M. polity (from General, to Jurisdictional, to Annual Conference), evangelicals in the West have little influence or power beyond the local church. Still, we remain steadfast and work and hope for a better day.
